Thermowood
Apply thermowood, and your home will be more beautiful.
Thermowood, also known as thermally modified wood, is a wood material subjected to a special heat treatment process to improve its physical properties and resistance to external factors. The thermal treatment involves heating the wood to a temperature of around 180-230°C under controlled humidity and with limited oxygen exposure. As a result, the wood becomes more stable, resistant to moisture, mold, and pests.
Increased resistance to moisture and decay.
Greater durability and dimensional stability.
Limited cracking and warping.
What is thermowood?
Thermowood is wood that has undergone thermal modifications, becoming significantly more resistant to the destructive effects of the environment due to heat and steam. Products made from this treated wood are also resistant to mold and fungi.
Application
Due to its durability and resistance, thermowood is an excellent material for outdoor furniture, saunas, hot tubs, terraces, stairs, and various types of cladding.
Thermowood also has beautiful aesthetic qualities; the grain structure of the wood becomes more prominent during the treatment process, giving the wood a richer, darker color.

Thermory Pine is an excellent solution for building terraces. The special thermal modification greatly enhances the durability and stability of the material. Thanks to the thermal treatment, Thermo Pine is completely resin-free, which further increases the pleasure of use. The thermo pine decking is very pleasant to the touch, encouraging walking barefoot on the terrace. It is also a child-friendly material. Thermory Pine is classified as class 2 durability, corresponding to a lifespan of 20-25 years without the need for protection. Additionally, it is resistant to weather conditions and does not require sealing or oiling. Any oiling is only applied to maintain the original color achieved through the thermo-modification process or to change the color of the boards. Without oiling, the wood will patinate to a gray hue under the effect of UV rays and rain. The patination process does not affect the durability and stability of the wood.
Characteristics:
- Softwood subjected to thermal modification
- Beautiful honey color throughout the board
- Dimensional stability – boards do not twist or warp
- Resin-free material, no resin exudation
- Durability class 2 (lifespan without protection is 20-25 years)
Thermo Pine is produced at 215°C in specially controlled, computer-operated kilns. The process uses only high temperatures and steam, without any chemicals. During the modification process, chemical and structural changes occur in the wood, improving its basic properties. The result is a much more stable and durable product – perfect for use in outdoor environments exposed to weather conditions, such as external terraces.
– High resistance to weather conditions and biodegradation
– Lifespan without protection of up to 20+ years
– Exceptional strength
– High dimensional stability (unlike exotic woods)
– Reduced water absorption
– Increased resistance to rot
– Unique color, not only on the outside but throughout the entire cross-section of the board
– Excellent heat insulator
– Environmentally friendly material – free from chemicals
– Ideal for allergy sufferers – non-allergenic
